As of 2024,  17 universities in Nepal offer 20 different types of BHM programs. National universities such as Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Purbanchal University, Pokhara University, and Mid-West University offer robust BHM programs tailored to the needs of the Nepalese hospitality sector. KU runs two types of hospitality management programs: one is a Bachelor in Hospitality Management, and the other is a Bachelor in Professional Hospitality.

in 2019, Lumbini Buddhist University also started offering a Bachelor in Travel and Tourism Management with honors in Buddhism. Eligibility

For Tribhuvan University

Candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any academic stream with a minimum of 45 percent aggregate marks, must have secured 40% marks in CMAT exam conducted by Tribhuvan university.

For Pokhara University  

To apply for this program a 10+2 or equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% or 2.00 CGPA is required. 

For Purbanchal University

Candidate should have completed schooling (10+2)/ intermediate or equivalent in any stream from recognized board or university with proficiency in English.
