Established in 2007 AD, Padmashree College came into operation with a vision of bringing in the global standards of IT, Hospitality and Food Science College to Nepal and produce scientific manpower of high caliber.
Nestled at a quaint setting but at the centre of the city, Tinkune, Kathmandu, Padmashree College is a community where students of diverse interests are groomed on a single pool. It's more than an institution, it is where the intellect and the heart converge.
The college offers Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and BA (Hons) in Business and Hospitality Management (BABHM) in affiliation with Nilai University, Malaysia. Similarly, it also offers Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor of Food Technology (BTech Food) in affiliation with Tribhuvan University.

BIT
Our computing programmes have been carefully designed to provide the latest skills and knowledge using state-of-the-art facilities. Padmashree’s computing is ahead of competitors. The fact that it provides students with a solid foundation in core concepts and principles is definitely its strength.
Eligibility
- Pass Higher Secondary Education Board(HSEB) Grade XII with minimum of 45% in 2 subjects.
- Minimum of 45% in English in HSEB Grade XII.
Note: English can also count as 1 subject in 1 above.
3.Minimum of 45% in Mathematics of SLC or, Mathematics of HSEB Grade XII.

BABHM
This program enhances students’ knowledge and builds their capacity enabling them to work in various departments within hospitality industry. The program was designed from extensive industry input and was developed with a focus on progressive learning in four key hospitality and tourism area including management, finance, human resources and marketing. Ultimately, this program gives you the career mobility to dive into challenging supervisory positions within the hospitality and tourism sector or optionally soar in business specialization in any industry.

BCA
Padmashree offers a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application with the affiliation from Tribhuvan University.
Eligibility
Students who have passed the entrance examination and secured minimum 40 % or 'C' grade /2 CGPA in all subjects of 10+ 2 or equivalent examinations are eligible.
BTech Food Program
Padmashree offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology (B.Tech.), a four-year program affiliated to Tribhuvan University, the most renowned University of Nepal. Padmashree is set up with the vision of bringing in the global standards of Food Science College to Nepal and producing scientific human resource of high caliber. The college is the creation of dynamic professionals, led by professionally-trained and experienced faculties. B.Tech. (Food) program, launched 4 years ago, is running successfully with a huge support from students and guardians
Eligibiity
10+2 in Science or equivalent with minimum of 50% in average.

ABOUT US
The college has well-equipped, well-furnished and spacious laboratories to facilitate the smooth conduct of practicals and research works. The library is full of books, magazines, journals and other reading materials. Besides, students can enjoy e-learning in the well-equipped computer laboratory with 24 hour internet facility which can be used by the students in the specified time. It has space big enough for games such as basketball, table tennis, etc. Various modern methods of teaching through LCD Projector, OHP, regular talk program, seminars, etc are common.
