The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has invited applications for admission to study various Certificate and Diploma-Level programs under the Fully Fee Paying schemes for the academic year 2083/84.

Following the notice published on 2083/01/28 regarding the admission process for diploma/certificate level programs, CTEVT has invited eligible candidates to submit online application forms for various programs under full fee for diploma/certificate levels, as mentioned in the details below.

Key Details

  • Form fee: Rs. 1,000 (No institution shall charge higher than the stipulated amount. If it is found, the concerned institution shall pay a fine of Rs 10,000 to the concerned examinee. If the penalty is not accepted, necessary action will be taken against the institution as per the existing law)
  • Form Submission Start: Baisakh 29, 2083,  (May 12, 2026, Tuesday) Onwards
  • Deadline for Form Submission: Jestha 13, 2083, (May 27, 2026, Wednesday) until 11:59 PM
  • Form Submission Mode:  must submit the form at ITMS Online, APPLY ONLINE FOR CTEVT FULL PAYING SEATS

Eligibility for Diploma Programs

A) For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Percentage Grading System

Certificate Level (PCL) Nursing/MidwiferyPassed SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution with compulsory subjects Mathematics, English, and Science, with at least second division or a minimum of 45% aggregate marks; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.
All Other Diploma Level Programs Post Grade 10Passed SLC or equivalent from a recognized educational institution with compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science subjects; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.

B) For Candidates with Academic Qualifications in the Letter Grading System

For Health-Related Programs
Passed SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, having taken compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science subjects, with a minimum of 2.0 GPA; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.
For All Other Non-Health ProgramsPassed SEE or equivalent from a recognized educational institution, having taken compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science subjects, with a minimum of 1.6 GPA; or passed Technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level in a related subject of an ongoing program with a minimum aggregate score of 68.33%.

Selection Process

  1. The eligibility for admission is determined based on the average Grade Point (GPA) obtained in the SEE examination. For this, the corresponding values are added to the obtained grades according to the criteria below. Similarly, for applicants who have academic qualifications based on the percentage system, their percentages will be converted into grades following the letter grading system issued by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Curriculum Development Center, as per the “Letter Grading Directive, 2078 (Revised Edition)”.

  1. For students who have passed the SEE or SLC exams from government or community schools, 1 grade points will be added, and for students who passed from institutional schools, 0.85 grade points will be added.
  2. If students have obtained equal final grades, their individual subject grades will be reviewed in the following order of priority: Mathematics, Science, and English.
  3. If students still have the same final grades even after applying criterion (1), and (b), priority will be given to those who have passed S.L.C./S.E.E. from marginalized rural areas.
  4. If the final grades remain equal even after applying criteria (1), (b), and (c), priority will be given to the student with the earlier date of birth.

Required documents

  • 2 recent passport-size color photographs showing apparent facial features,
  • Photocopy of the educational qualification certificate of SLC/SEE or equivalent,
  • In the case of those who passed SLC/SEE or a similar examination from countries other than Nepal, a certified copy of equivalence is determined by the body designated by the Government of Nepal.
