Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Controller division, Sanothimi Bhaktapur, calls for applications to study Diploma/certificate level Programs in CTEVT's constituent/affiliated colleges for the academic year 2083/84.
This scholarship applies to Diploma and Certificate level programs at various constituent, partnership, and private institutions.
Important Rules to Remember
- Single Province Limit: You can only apply for programs within one province of your choice.
- Provincial Competition: Your ranking and competition will stay within that chosen province. The merit list and admission recommendations will also be managed at the provincial level.
- Single Program Limit: For the 2083/84 academic session, you are only allowed to apply for one program under the Classified (Free) Scholarship category.

- Online Application opens from: 2083/01/29 onwards
- Previous Deadline for Form Submission: 2083/02/13 up to 11:59 PM.
Application Process
- Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 2083/02/13 (Jestha 13, 2083).
- Online Portal: You must fill out and submit the application form through the ITMS Online system on the CTEVT website.

- Pay the required application fee online.
- Choose the specific program you wish to study.
- Select your preferred Province and Institution (College).

Scholarship Allocation Rules
- Seat Adjustments: The number of scholarship seats may decrease if a full-paying program fails to run, or increase if new institutions are approved.
- 50/50 Split: Total scholarship seats are divided equally: 50% for the General Group and 50% for the Targeted (Reserved) Group.
- Male Nursing Quota: In the PCL Nursing program, 15% of the seats in the General Group are reserved for male students.
Reserved Category Breakdown (Targeted Group)
Out of the 50% reserved seats, the following percentages are allocated to specific groups:
- Female: 33% (includes sub-quotas for Dalit and Muslim women)
- Dalit: 9%
- Adivasi Janajati: 15%
- Khas Arya: 17%
- Madhesi: 12% (includes a sub-quota for Madhesi Dalit)
- Tharu: 4%
- Muslim: 2%
- Backward Regions: 4%
- Persons with Disabilities: 2%
- Families of Martyrs/Conflict Victims: 2%
Important Terms and Conditions
- Government Service: Scholarship recipients must agree to serve in a location designated by the Nepal Government for a specified period after completing their studies.
- One-Time Benefit: If you have received a CTEVT scholarship before, you cannot apply again.
- No Hidden Fees: Schools are strictly prohibited from charging scholarship students for tuition, lab fees, registration, regular exam applications, library access, or transportation to practical sites.
- Fraud Warning: Providing fake documents will lead to immediate cancellation of your registration, legal action, and a 5-year ban from all CTEVT exams.
