Five universities in Nepal are currently offering Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering programs. These are four-year programs consisting of nine semesters. Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University, Kathmandu University, Purbanchal University, and Manmohan Technical University provide these programs through their constituent campuses or affiliated colleges.
The two common specializations available are Power & Control and Communication. Graduates specializing in Power & Control can significantly contribute to the development of power transmission and harness the hydropower potential of Nepal.
