ABOUT

Oxford College of Engineering and Management is one of the pioneer management and science colleges located at Gaindakot, Nawalparasi Nepal. Oxford secondary school (OHSS) is one of the wings of the strings. The college, affiliated with NEB, Nepal, was established in 2057 BS by a group of academic experts. Since then it has been providing quality education to strengthen the skills and ability of the students. OHSS always takes quality education as the inherent factor of this dynamic and scientific era and the inescapable need of our society as well.

Putting this perspective in mind, Oxford College of Engineering and Management is providing different kinds of programs giving a number of elective (choice) subjects which are more practical oriented for the students to address the recent needs and to change with the speed of the changing society in terms of the technical & professional achievement.

The motto of OHSS is to provide quality education to uplift the educational standard of the students by creating a good academic environment. We urge the students and guardians to visit and observe our college once before taking any decision about students ' future in higher education.

Mission

The college is committed to teaching, research, and extension education so that it can achieve its mission of making an important difference in the lives of our stakeholders in relation to the nation no less than in Chitwan and Nawalparasi, as in the world at large.

Oxford Labs

Oxford College of Engineering and Management has developed well-equipped, modern, and newly updated laboratories for engineering education. The facility of such labs is also extended to the commercial markets for testing and verification of materials and products. They have:

Library

The OCEM Library is home to over 25000+ books, 250000+ E-books, periodicals, and media volumes. Our mission is to serve in a capacity to support the curriculum and to encourage personal advancement in the students, faculty, and staff of Oxford College by building resource collections and an environment to study.

The OCEM College Library offers electronic databases, and print media to support the academic work of students, faculty, and staff as well as individual and group library and information literacy instruction

Canteen

Oxford College of Engineering & Management has given equal importance to the canteen facility. Our Canteen is one of the largest college canteens in the context of Nepal. From the beginning, we have been focusing on the quality of foods to serve our students. It is not only the physical refreshment but also uses it as the place of discussion and even work on assignments and projects. Currently, we have 2,700 students from all faculty (BCA, BBA, BE and 10+2 Science and Management) and our canteen is able to serve them from 6 am to 5 pm.

Our canteen has a big kitchen with a fully equipped and large area with separate sitting for students, and teaching and non-teaching staff. Our canteen staffs are highly aware of hygienic food selection and preparation. The canteen area is neat and clean, and it is observed by top-level management every day. Food items are prepared with purified water and it provides nutritious, varied, and exciting meals and snacks to suit every taste. Food is always fresh and homemade and uses the best locally-sourced ingredients. Following are the major food items preferred by students and available in our canteen.

Transportation Facility

OCEM has also provided transportation Facilities to address the demands of guardians and students who come from distances taking more than an hour to travel.

Admission Guidelines

Entry Criteria for BBA

The candidates should have a higher secondary or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized board or university & secure at least a 'C' grade in each subject or second division(45%) from the board or university recognized by Pokhara University.

Entry Criteria for BCA

The candidates should have a higher secondary or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized board or university with computer science or Mathematics at least 100 full marks & securing at least 'C' grade in each subject or second division(45%) from the board or university recognized by Pokhara University.

Entry Criteria for Engineering Programs

The candidates should have passed I. Sc. or 10+2 (Science), or I.E. or equivalent securing at least 'C' grade in each subject or second division(45%) or above from University or Board recognized by Pokhara University.
