Located in Bhaktapur, an ancient city rich in history and culture, Khwopa Secondary School has established itself as the most prominent educational institution in the district. It is operated by a team of leading academics and enthusiastic locals who are dedicated to its success.

On August 1st, 1999 (16th Shrawan, 2056), Khwopa Secondary School was established by the Bhaktapur Municipality. The municipality was driven by the mission to provide quality education and promote enlightenment for both the society and the nation, with the long-term vision of overall development for Bhaktapur. Over the past decade, this institution has demonstrated its excellence by becoming one of the best-equipped schools with national recognition.

Khwopa Secondary School's goal is to develop competent and skilled global leaders with a strong foundation in theoretical knowledge. Therefore, the institution considers each academic year as a fresh start and strives to achieve something beyond what has been previously accomplished. Evaluation

In course of enhancing the students’ academic capability through regular monitoring, KSS conducts various examinations and assignments within an academic year.

Assignments

Students required to complete the assignments given by the faculty members within the given time frame. A student showing poor performance will be given timely academic suggestions and guidelines and will be informed to parents in timely manner.

Examination

KSS conducts two Terminal Examinations and a Pre Board Examination in a academic year. Pre-board Examination is conducted after the completion of the course. Students who are unable to pass the Examinations need to appear and pass in Re-Examinations otherwise they will not be allowed for HSEB Examinations.

Admission Guidelines

An entrance examination followed by an interview is compulsory for all the students seeking admission.

Management Stream

An examinee need to secure minimum of GPA C+ in SEE (Student who did not have account subject in SEE can apply only if he/she secure minimum of GPA B). The entrance test covers following 3 subjects i.e. English, Account and Mathematics

Humanities Stream

An examinee need to secure minimum of GPA C in SEE. The entrance test covers following 3 subjects i.e. English, Nepali and Mathematics.

Science Stream

An examinee need to secure minimum of GPA B in SEE. The entrance test covers following 3 subjects i.e. English, Science and Mathematics
