Science Laboratories

The scientific labs at Swostishree Gurukul IB Global School are well-equipped. Nursing and Infirmary

At Swostshree Gurukul, qualified and experienced nurses are on call. The infirmary will handle minor injuries, and regular visits from doctors to check on the student's health will be made.

Library

Reading, in the opinion of Swostishree Gurukul, is the most effective approach to expanding vocabulary and enhancing comprehension. Senior and junior libraries at the school are both well-stocked with a wide selection of reference books, fiction and non-fiction books, daily newspapers, periodicals, magazines, current journals, and an e-library with multimedia features. Qualified librarians employed by the school teach particular classes and facilitate general reading at the library.

Cafeteria

Swostishree Gurukul is dedicated to giving kids wholesome, hygienic meals. A healthy, balanced diet is essential for children's physical and intellectual development, and schools are aware of this. Meals are prepared by qualified workers in our contemporary kitchen under the direction/supervision of a professional chef and dietician in hygienic conditions. The chefs and culinary staff emphasize that the food supplied is engaging and fun for the kids. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items are cooked separately with great care and using different equipment for cooking and serving.

Admission Guidelines

Swostishree warmly invites applications from students of diverse nationalities, maintaining a policy of non-discrimination based on race, color, gender, or ethnicity. Admission is granted subject to seat availability, with final decisions made by the Admission Committee. All applicants must undergo a screening test comprising a written examination and interview for eligibility.

Parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children at Swostishree are encouraged to adhere to the following procedure:

Step 1

Contact the Admission Office and arrange an appointment for a school tour.

Step 2

Collect the Application Package including the Application Form from the school reception. The Application Form is available also on the school’s website.

Step 3

Fill out the Application Form and submit it to the Admission Office. The Admission Office will set a date and time for a placement assessment and an interview. Both the parents/guardians and the student shall be interviewed.

Step 4

The school issues an Acceptance Letter within a week to confirm admission and a voucher to make a deposit that covers the Admission Fee, Security Deposit, and Annual Charges. This deposit confirms the admission of the student at Swostishree. If a deposit is not made by the given date the place will be offered to another student on the waiting list.

Step 5

Parents/guardians are required to attend a parents orientation meeting where they will be provided with necessary documents and information

Swostishree Gurukul, established in Sanobharyang, Kathmandu has been created to provide modern methods of learning by using the latest state-of-the-art facilities and research-based teaching methods. The philosophy of teaching is progressive, child-centered, and active. unlimited opportunities for those who have the right attitude and the right qualifications. The playing
field has expanded beyond imagination and the players are multitalented and multifaceted. It is our
dream at Swostishree Gurukul to prepare players who will not only be able to compete but will also be
capable of leading.

Yesterday’s school is no longer relevant for today’s child. The world is so much smaller than it was
yesterday. There’s so much change happening and at such frightful speed. If one doesn’t keep up one
will get left behind. The need of the hour is an education that is progressive and inquiry-based in an
environment that encourages students to learn, formulate questions, investigate widely and then build
new understandings, meanings and knowledge.

The rising interest in an education that is relevant, inspiring and useful for their children to be successful
