The +2 Law program is a two-year academic course offered under the National Examination Board (NEB), Nepal. It is designed for students who are interested in understanding legal systems, justice, and governance.
This program provides an introduction to the legal framework of Nepal and helps students develop analytical thinking, reasoning skills, and an understanding of rights, duties, and social justice.
Law is not only a professional field but also a discipline that helps shape society by ensuring justice, equality, and accountability. In Nepal, the legal system has evolved from traditional and uncodified practices to a modern codified structure, especially after the promulgation of the new Civil and Criminal Codes in 2074 B.S.

Eligibility
Students who have completed Grade 10 (SEE or equivalent) are eligible to apply for Grade 11 (+2 Law).
As per the National Curriculum Development and Evaluation Council decision (2079/05/19), students must have obtained a minimum average GPA of 1.6 in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) to be eligible for enrollment.

Higher Education Pathways
After completing +2 Law, students can pursue a Bachelor of Laws and specialize in various areas of legal studies. In Nepal, students can enroll in:
- B.A. LL.B. (Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws)
- Integrated programs offered by Kathmandu University, such as BBM LL.B. (Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Laws) and BEC LL.B. (Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws)
