Following a structured timetable throughout the week, students commence their day at 5:30 am and conclude at 8:30 pm, with study sessions conducted in both morning and evening hours, allowing ample time for participation in co-curricular pursuits. The hostel infrastructure comprises spacious, well-lit, and ventilated buildings, with each dormitory overseen by two teachers and two staff members. About Us

Galaxy Public School constitutes an educational community where individuals from diverse nationalities and backgrounds, including students and staff, coexist, study, and collaborate within a harmonious environment.

Established in 1986 by its founder Principal, Mrs. Geeta Rana, Galaxy operates as a co-educational institution, serving the academic requirements of both boys and girls from Nursery to Class 12.

Originally established within a modest tenement house with only nine students and two teachers, Galaxy has since undergone remarkable expansion. Presently, it stands as one of the largest educational establishments in the valley, boasting an enrollment of over 2000 students and a proficient staff of 250.

The institution's objective is to furnish a comprehensive education that equips students with the moral integrity to confront life's challenges and cultivates them into productive and loyal citizens. This ethos is encapsulated in the school motto, "LOVE and SERVICE."

Galaxy endeavors not only to prepare students for academic success and professional pursuits but also aims to foster tolerant, well-balanced, and independent individuals who are inclined towards aiding others. Its distinguishing feature lies in the diverse range of activities it offers, intended to nurture students' holistic development and showcase their talents for the betterment of society.

At Galaxy, every student is afforded the opportunity to engage in various activities, a privilege not commonly found in other educational institutions.

Galaxy Public School remains steadfast in its commitment, as it was in 1986, to the belief that the future of humanity relies on individuals who embrace responsibility for themselves and others in an increasingly diverse society. This commitment is realized through a comprehensive educational experience that nurtures students' skills, perspectives, and ethics, preparing them to contribute positively to society.

The school actively fosters an academic environment that values diverse viewpoints and expressions, empowering students to discern ways in which they can contribute meaningfully to the greater good through love and service. It maintains a stance of political neutrality and discourages political activities within its premises.

In line with Nepalese culture and traditions, the school imparts value-based education without promoting any specific religion, advocating instead for respect towards all positive religious beliefs and encouraging students to glean wisdom from various faiths.

Galaxy firmly believes that a child's proper education can only be achieved when the school, home, and society collaborate harmoniously, each respecting the integrity of the others. Any distrust or discord among these three pillars of education has the potential to disrupt the delicate relationship essential for the holistic development of children.
