BBS in Nepal: Programs, Admission and Colleges

The Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) program has a long-standing tradition in Nepal, providing a comprehensive education in business and management. Originally a three-year course, Tribhuvan University extended its BBS program to four years in 2070 BS.

Today, the BBS program is offered by four other universities: Purbanchal University, Mid-West University, Far-Western University, and Nepal Open University. Numerous institutions offer the BBS program in Nepal. Tribhuvan University has a large network of 698 colleges providing this course. Mid-West University and Purbanchal University each offer the program through 9 institutions, while Far-Western University extends it through 11 colleges. Eligibility

University	Eligibility Criteria
Tribhuvan University	Passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized institutes with second division (45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA.
Purbanchal University	Completed +2 in Science/Management or equivalent with English as a compulsory subject. Students from other faculties must have Mathematics or Economics as a major subject.
Mid-West University	Nepali and non-Nepali nationals with a 10+2 or intermediate degree or equivalent of at least two years duration in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate or CGPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Far-Western University	Completed 10+2 with a 'D+' Grade or equivalent from a recognized board.
Nepal Open University	Completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
