Admission Guidelines
For +2 Programs
Eligibility
Students seeking admission to GCM must have a minimum GPA of 2.4 in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
Entrance Test
Students must appear for the entrance test as scheduled by the college. The test comprises questions related to Mathematics, English, Nepali, and General Knowledge.
Interview
Each candidate who gets through the entrance test is called for an interview.
The Final result for Admission
The final results for successful candidates for admission are published based on the weighted average of the entrance test, interview, and SEE marks.
For BBS program
Entrance Test and Interview
Eligible students should fill the application form distributed by the college and submit in the college administration. Candidates must appear the College Admission Test (CAT) as scheduled by the college. The test comprises the questions related to verbal ability, quantitative ability, business and economics, logical reasoning and general awareness. Each candidate on getting through the entrance test is called for the interview. The final results for successful candidates for admission are published based on the weighted average of the entrance test, interview, and +2 marks.
Admission Procedures Eligibility
- Must have successfully completed the PCL or +2 in business/ commerce or an equivalent course from the Higher Secondary Education Board, or from Tribhuvan University, or from any other university/ Board recognized by TU.
- Must have studied English as a full paper at the PC Level or +2 program or equivalent.
For MBS Program
Eligibility
The applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in management/commerce or related discipline from Tribhuvan University or any other university recognized by TU.
Entrance Test and Interview
Eligible candidates should fill the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) form and submit to the college administration and should appear in CMAT test as scheduled by the FOM, TU. The test comprises the questions related to verbal ability, quantitative ability, business and economics, logical reasoning and general awareness.
- The applicant must pass the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by the FOM, TU.
- Each candidate on getting through the entrance test is called for an interview.
- The result for admission is published on the basis of the weighted average marks of the entrance, interview, and past academic performance.
SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
For 10+2 Management
- The scholarship is merit- and criteria-based, as set by the National Examination Board of Nepal. Students for the scholarship must pass competitive exams and complete the scholarship form to be selected.
For BBS Program
- The board gold medalist of +2(HSEB)/NEB/PCL(TU) will be awarded with a full scholarship.
- The board's highest scorer of +2(HSEB)/NEB/PCL(TU) among the enrolled students at GCM with Distinction will be awarded a 100% scholarship on the admission fee and 60% on the tuition fee (60%).
- Students with marks between 73% to 75% in the +2 (HSEB)/PCL(TU) Exams will be awarded a scholarship of 50% in the admission fee and 40% on the tuition fee.
- Students with marks between 70% to 73% in +2 (HSEB)/PCL(TU) Exams will be awarded a scholarship of 50% on the admission fee and 25% on the tuition fee.
- Students with marks between 65% to 70% in the +2 (HSEB)/PCL(TU) Exams will be awarded a scholarship of 50% on the admission fee and 10% on the tuition fee.
- Students with marks between 60% to 65% in +2(HSEB)/PCL(TU) Exam will be awarded a scholarship of 50% on the admission fee
- One student from a remote area and a financially poor group, and one student from the Dalit and Marginalized group will be given a scholarship of 75% on the admission fee and 50% on the tuition fee.
- The Student holding First Position in the Board Exam at GCM will be awarded a 100% scholarship on the tuition Fee for one year.
- The Student holding the Second Position in the Board Exam at GCM will be awarded a 50% scholarship on the tuition Fee for one year.
- The Student holding the Third Position in the Board Exam at GCM will be awarded a 25% scholarship on the tuition Fee for one year.
- The Student holding the First Position in the Term Exam at GCM will be awarded a 60% scholarship on the tuition Fee for three months.
- The Student holding the Second Position in the Term Exam at GCM will be awarded a 40% scholarship on the tuition Fee for three months.
- The Student holding the Third Position in the Term Exam at GCM will be awarded a 20% scholarship on the tuition Fee for three months.
- The GCM will award the GCM Excellence Award to the Highest scorer in an average of BBS I, II, III, and IV years with a trophy and a cash prize.
For MBS Program
- The scholarship is merit-based at GCM. Students who wish to receive the scholarship must pass the competitive exams and complete the scholarship form for final selection.
