Re-Entrance Notice

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) announces an update regarding the re-entrance exam for vacant seats in full-fee certificate-level programs for the academic session 2081/82.

This re-entrance exam is applicable to all programs except for:

Diploma in Pharmacy
General Medicine (HA)
PCL Nursing
Midwifery

As per Section 24 of the Admission Guidelines, 2081, candidates on the Cut-off list are invited to apply for admission to the remaining seats. If vacancies persist after the standard admission process, educational institutions are authorized to hold re-entrance exams and manage the publication of results in line with Section 18(2) of the “Diploma and Certificate Level Entrance Examination Conduct, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission Guidelines, 2081” and Section 20 of the “Pre-Diploma Level Entrance Examination Conduct, Scholarship Distribution, and Admission Guidelines, 2081.”

All provisions from the notice issued by the Examination Control Office (OCE) on Asadh 15, 2081 (as seen below under "Old Notice") remain in effect. The entrance examination and admission procedures must be finalized by submitting data through the ITMS Online Entry system within the given deadline.

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) has published an entrance examination notice for new admissions in various Certificate and Diploma Level programs for the fully paid schemes for the academic year 2081.

Key Details

Form fee: Rs. 1,500
Form Submission Start: 2081 Ashadh 16, onwards
Form Submission Last Date: 2081 Sharwan 13
Entrance Exam Date: 2081 Sharwan 19, from 8 AM onwards
Exam center: The exam center will be published later.

Eligibility for Diploma Programs

Passed SLC by taking compulsory Mathematics, English and Science subjects from a recognized educational institution.

Or,

1.6 GPA out of 4.0 in SEE with compulsory English, Mathematics and Science subjects in the exam.

Or,

Passed with 68.33 percent marks in the total marks of the technical SLC/Pre-Diploma level related to the program conducted by the CTEVT.

Required documents

2 recent passport-size color photographs showing apparent facial features,
Photocopy of the educational qualification certificate of SLC/SEE or equivalent,
In the case of those who passed SLC/SEE or a similar examination from countries other than Nepal, a certified copy of equivalence is determined by the body designated by the Government of Nepal.
