SOS Children's Village is a non-profit organization that helps children in need. SOS Sanothimi is Nepal's first SOS Children's Village, founded in 1972. It's on the outskirts of Kathmandu and on the western outskirts of the Bhaktapur district. The village in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, is a caring home for 160 youngsters who live in 16 family houses.
SOS Hermann Gmeiner School-Bhaktapur is one of SOS Children's Village Nepal's ancillary facilities and, of course, the first in the establishment of SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools in Nepal. It is named after Prof. Hermann Gmeiner, SOS Children's Village International's founding Father.
SOS Hermann Gmeiner School-Bhaktapur offers Plus two in Science with affiliation from National Examination Board ( NEB ). The total number of seats per batch is 100.
Admission Requirments
Scholarship is provided to the deserving and needy students only. To be more specific, priority is given to the children who have lost or are on the verge of losing their parental care and the children from the family below the poverty line.
Depending upon the need and academic excellence of the students, the scholarship will be categorized from 25% to 100% freeship.
