ABOUT
The youngest institute under the Malpi Educational Institution, Malpi City School was established in 2006 and iis located in Naxal, Kathmandu.
The governance of the school includes responsible and accountable stakeholders who are commited to creating equal opportunity to all of the students while being guided by transparency and honesty is all of the relationships maintained by the school.
At MCS, our aim is to broaden students' knowledge beyond what can be found in textbooks. Our mission is to foster curiosity, inquisitiveness, confidence, articulateness, and enlightenment in our students, so that they may enter the global community with dignity and integrity. Salient Features
Personal Counselling
Students, Teachers and Support Staff are provided with personal and group counseling by a professional counselor. Malpi City School strongly believes that counseling keeps the interpersonal relationship mutual and functioning.
Library
The library has age appropriate books, periodicals and research materials. It is staffed by a qualified librarian who can provide prompt guidance and assistance to the students. Students are required to do extra reading and write book reports and reviews.
Cafeteria
The school canteen serves hot wholesome lunch to all students and staff members. Snacks are also served with fruits and drinks i.e. juice/hot drinks as per the prevailing season. Food at the school is prepared in-house under the supervision of professional cooks and staff in hygienic condition.
Computer Laboratory
Individual work station is provided for each student. Students have easy access to the laboratory for doing course work and personal research. Accessibility is restricted to relevant and useful sites and domains. This multimedia provision facilitates individual learning.
Science Laboratory
Biology, chemistry and physics laboratories allow hands-on learning and help students gain experience in scientific methodology.
Admission Guidelines
- Application forms can be filled online once admissions open and students will be contacted by the school upon submission.
- Candidates must appear in an entrance examination on the school premises.
- Students that clear the entrance can proceeed with an interview along with their parents.
- Candidates will receive an accceptance notice should they be accepted and can begin further admission process.
