Admission Guidelines

Step 1: Application & Documentation
To begin the admission process, the applicant must first complete and submit the official application form (online or offline).
After submitting the application form, the following documents are required:
- Copy of the child’s birth certificate (original or attested photocopy)
- Official academic reports of the last two years (if applicable)
- Five recent passport-size photographs
- Medical record (if available)
- Transfer certificate from previous school (mandatory from Class 2 onwards)
Once the application and documents are received, the admission process officially begins. Student placement is initially guided by age criteria and further confirmed through assessment and interaction.
Age Criteria (General Placement Guideline)
Students are placed in age-appropriate classes to ensure suitable academic and developmental learning levels:
- Class 1 – 5.5 years by 31 March
- Class 2 – 6.5 years by 31 March
- Class 3 – 7.5 years by 31 March
- Class 4 – 8.5 years by 31 March
- Class 5 – 9.5 years by 31 March
- Class 6 – 10.5 years by 31 March
- Class 7 – 11.5 years by 31 March

Step 2: Assessment & Interaction
After document submission, students undergo an assessment process for appropriate class placement.
- An aptitude test is conducted for students applying from Class 3 and above
- For Classes 3 to 5, assessment focuses on English, Mathematics, and Science
- For Class 6 and above, evaluation also includes scientific concepts along with core subjects
- The assessment reflects expected learning outcomes of the previous grade level
The school also prefers a personal interaction with students to understand their interests, learning style, and academic background. Parents may also be invited for discussion when necessary to support appropriate placement.
For students who face difficulty in the aptitude test, further evaluation may be conducted to ensure correct grade placement.
Admission from Outside Lalitpur
Students applying from outside Lalitpur may submit scanned copies of required documents via email. The school may conduct an online aptitude assessment to evaluate academic readiness.
If needed, an online or telephonic interaction with the student and parents may be arranged. Applicants from outside the valley often opt for the residential facility, and detailed hostel information is available under the boarding section.
