Admission Guidelines
Admissions at Modern School and College are open for Grade 11 in +2 Management and +2 Law. The process is straightforward, transparent, and merit-based.
Applicants must have secured the prescribed minimum GPA in the SEE or an equivalent examination conducted by the National Examinations Board (NEB). Eligible students must collect and submit a prescribed admission form, available at the school and college administration office at Srijana Nagar-1, Bhaktapur, or at the Dadhikot campus. Forms may also be requested by email at info@modern.edu.np.
All applicants must appear for a written entrance test administered by the institution to assess academic aptitude and suitability for the chosen program. Students who pass the entrance examination are called for a formal interview, and parents or guardians are required to accompany the applicant. The institution reserves the full right to approve or reject any application without prior notice.
Selected students must submit the following documents along with applicable fees to confirm their seat: original SEE marksheet and certificate, character certificate from the previous school, migration certificate (if applicable), citizenship certificate of the parent or guardian, birth certificate of the applicant, and recent passport-size photographs.
The +2 Management and +2 Law programs are each two years in duration, covering Grades 11 and 12.

Important Scholarship Conditions:
- Each scholarship holder must maintain their academic results to continue receiving the scholarship in Grade 12. The scholarship will be discontinued if the student fails in any terminal examination.
- Merit Awards are provided to the top three students in each term as follows:
- 1st Student 100% off in the monthly fee up to the next terminal exam
- 2nd Student 50% off in the monthly fee up to the next terminal exam
- 3rd Student 25% off in the monthly fee up to the next terminal exam
- Most Punctual Student Prize: A cash prize is awarded to the most regular and punctual student of the year, funded from the sum collected through absence fines for Grades XI and XII.
- NEB Board Exam Topper Reward: The total fees paid in Grade XI and XII are fully refunded to the student who tops the NEB Board Examination in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
