KU City School, located in the tranquil environment of Saraswatinagar, Chabahil, Kathmandu, is one of the coveted schools in Nepal. It was established in 2010 by a joint effort of proficient educationists, business entrepreneurs, edu-management consultants, and social activists who have long believed in the transformation of education in the nation. The management committee holds a strong conviction that everyone can learn, lead, and succeed in life if they are provided with an excellent environment where they can freely boost their emotions, feelings, interests, and thoughts.

The school envisions serving students not only with academic knowledge but also with the analytical skills required to bridge the gaps between the phases of life from childhood to adulthood, thereby generating accountable and industrious citizens of the nation.

Salient Features

Canteen

KU City School has set up a canteen that provides healthy meals to every student daily. The canteen also regularly introduces different cuisines (French, Chinese, Indian, Italian, etc.) to enhance the students' taste buds and maintain a balanced diet.

Hostel

KU City School has separate hostels for boys and girls that are designed to be student-friendly, creating a homely environment. The hostel wardens and staff are highly professional and dedicated to the all-around development of the students. The hostels are operated at an affordable cost and provide all expected amenities.

Library

The school boasts a fully stocked library with textbooks, reference books, newspapers, magazines, journals, and other educational and recreational books for student use. Each academic session, students are provided with a set of original textbooks, which they must maintain and return to the library within a fortnight of the issued date. The library also has ample reference materials to support students throughout the academic year.

Laboratory

KU City School has fully equipped laboratories that allow students to gain practical knowledge without difficulty. For science students, daily practical sessions complement their theoretical learning. Practical classes are also emphasized in the disciplines of Management, Humanities, and Law.
