Clubs:

There are eighteen different clubs in Budhanilkantha School. All these clubs perform different activities in and around the school compound. All of the clubs raise funds by themselves and conduct activities involving even ls in and around the Kathmandu valley.

Budhanilkantha School aims to provide all-around education to its students.  It has been successful in imparting multi-dimensional skills and leadership qualities in them through a wide range of sporting and numerous co-curricular activities such as drama and debating, community services, scouts, sports, and so on. Students are actively involved in organizing and participating in various activities in and outside the school.

About Us

Budhanilkantha School is located on approximately 29 hectares (574 companies) of land and has first-rate physical facilities. It is a  joint venture effort between the government of Nepal and the government of the United Kingdom, the school was established in 1972.

The distinguished students come from all over Nepal, representing various races, ethnicities, cultures, and socioeconomic levels. Scholarships from the government are awarded to approximately one-third of the total student population. The scholarship is awarded to deserving and needy students following a highly selective entrance exam held throughout the country each year. Budhanilkantha School, in addition to high academic standards, teaches multidimensional skills and leadership through a variety of sports and extracurricular activities. The majority of graduates receive scholarships to attend prestigious colleges and universities around the world. The Public Educational Trust manages the school, with the Ministry of Education as the primary trustee. The Board is presided over by the Education Secretary.
