Message from the Dean

Kathmandu University School of Science (KUSOS) mission statement is “quality education for leadership”. We have completed 25th years of establishment in the year 2017 and at the silver jubilee celebration have synthesized following six initiatives as guiding principle for the university with Vision 2030 via Quality, Impact, Equity, Global engagement, Identity and Innovation.

The KUSOS is, without doubt, a leading school with highly qualified and senior faculties who are regularly involved in teaching, research and project activities. Students at KUSOS have both academic as well as non-academic extracurricular activities for their exposure. Student need to visit the department and to ask the course instructor or HoD receiving valuable resources and useful instructions besides classroom direct interaction.

The major role of Office of the Dean in coordination with its department is to take care of academic and administrative affairs for the welfare of students, faculties and staffs with proper information and implementation as per the updated well defined KU policy and guidelines.

We believe that while maintaining discipline, each student of KUSOS is capable and confident to work hard achieving the goal and impart the knowledge to the community. I request our students to contact us directly for the proper instruction and to follow the right approach to get the solution.

Finally, student’s feedback is very important and necessary part of our quality assessment system and so we expect every one of you participating in this process without any hesitation.
