Kanjirowa National Secondary School (KNSS) is a privately run, co-educational establishment that is committed to providing a supportive, welcoming, and empathetic atmosphere for learning. Originally established in 1998 under the name Kathmandu Don Bosco H. S. School in New Baneshwor, the school is currently overseen by a group of educators who possess both domestic and foreign expertise. Over the years, KNSS has gained recognition for its institutional advancement, dynamic curriculum, innovative teaching methods, student-friendly surroundings, and extensive range of extracurricular activities. The school is now situated in Koteshwor.

Study Support and Resources
Students' performance is periodically evaluated, and based on the results, both students and parents receive individual consultations throughout the student's time in the school. Students will always have someone available to assist them with any needs they may have. Additionally, there are special provisions in place to efficiently meet students' daily needs, such as photocopying and reference materials. For students with special needs, the coordinators serve as a liaison between students, academic staff, and management to ensure that they receive the necessary support.
Career and Higher Education Guidance
To reinforce the lessons learned in formal classrooms, students are required to undertake a small project each term outside of the academic curriculum. Furthermore, Kanjirowa offers its students informational seminars that include in-depth counseling on higher education and highly sought-after occupations, both in Nepal and foreign universities. Additionally, every Wednesday, students have access to a counselor for assistance.
Transportation
Kanjirowa uses its own transportation for students from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Banepa (Kavre).
Library
Kanjirowa has a meticulously organized library, stocked with an abundance of books to aid its students and faculty. The library also boasts several special collections of materials, and students can take advantage of the Wi-Fi zone and e-library. The collection of books is periodically assessed, and new acquisitions are made as needed. There are several cubicles available for students to sit and study in a serene environment.
Information Technology
Kanjirowa provides students with a significant number of PCs at their disposal. The computer lab is accessible on all working days, starting from 6:30 in the morning until 5:30 in the evening.
Extra/Co-Curricular Activities
Kanjirowa motivates students to participate in sports and other extracurricular activities. The school arranges a variety of sporting events such as cricket, basketball, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and more. Additionally, there are debate competitions, talk programs, group discussions, cultural shows, excursions, and elocution, with students playing an active role in these activities. These programs provide students with a platform to showcase their talents in a competitive setting.
Evaluation System
Kanjirowa provides a variety of academic and extracurricular opportunities for its students. Student assessment is an ongoing process throughout the year, with pre-scheduled exams including the Comprehensive Aptitude Test (CAT), Terminal, Sent-up, and weekly tests. The school recognizes that achieving excellence requires continuous effort, and as such, class tests, unit tests, and end-of-lesson tests are incorporated, along with a weekly Sunday test. To be eligible to sit for the Board Examination (NEB), students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 and an annual attendance of 80%.. A modern computerized information/data system is used to maintain records of examination results, punctuality, discipline, participation in various activities, and case studies of each student.

Situated on a sprawling 8 ropanis of land in a lush landscape on the Ring Road side northeast of Balkumari Bridge, Koteshwor, their state-of-the-art facilities give them confidence to provide a quality education. They take great care to ensure a seamless transition from the family to the learning environment at school, with a physical environment designed to enhance the student's natural curiosity and interest in exploring the world around them while maintaining a safe atmosphere. This design promotes the child's development by engaging their senses and stimulating their desire to learn.

Process
There is provision of scholarships to the students with need. The deserving students are required to apply for the scholarship. The criteria for the same are based on brilliance and academic performance of the students. Top-performing students are recognized through a scholarship program.
