The year 2007 marked the inception of GoldenGate International Secondary School, envisioned by a group of academics with long-standing experience and devotion in the field of teaching and learning.
GoldenGate International Secondary School offers 10+2 programs in Science, Management, and Humanities, affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB).
The mission of Golden Gate is to work towards establishing it as a reputed institution in terms of its excellence in quality by imparting international standard education to the students. It is with this pious objective that a team of seasoned faculty members with national and international exposures in their respective fields, along with successful managers and entrepreneurs, have joined hands and initiated this endeavor.

Faculties
In the department of Humanities and Social Science, the school has teaching faculty from its own and the experts from other agencies and departments. Its faculties have extensive experience in different disciplines and are committed to producing the highest academic standard.
Teaching Methodology
The teaching methodology, which is being adopted by the school, incorporates a blend of lectures, class discussions, and practical classes. Project works, audio-visual presentations, demonstrations, and special talk programs will be highlighted on the priority list for the overall development of a student.

Infrastructure
Laboratories: The laboratory are ideally equipped with all the necessary instruments and materials required to strengthen the theoretical concepts thorough the practical classes. Students have access to the high-speed internet computer laboratory for efficient learning and research purposes on the college premises.
Library: The Library is well stocked with all the necessary subject textbooks, both for reference and issue. The book collection contains both academic and professional journals/periodicals.
School premises: Recently, the school bought around 10 acres of land at Maitidevi-Old Baneshwar height, and the construction of a Hi-tech new building is in progress and will be completed by 2020.
Hostel facilities/ transportation/ Cafeteria
Separate hostels are available for the boys and the girls. Hostel students are provided with the hygienic meals five times a day. Tuition is provided for the hostel residents.
Golden Gate has a well-managed fleet of buses for the pick-up and drop-off of students to and from various hubs of the city, for hassle-free movement to and from the college.
There is a provision of a well-facilitated cafeteria that provides hygienic food at an affordable price to the students.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR +2 MANAGEMENT
Application is open to students passing SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA of B grade (Grade Point 2.8) in the SEE Examination
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR +2 HUMANITIES
Application is open to students passing SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA of C+ grade (Grade Point 2.4) in the SEE Examination.
The fee is very reasonable and affordable at GoldenGate International College. Students can enjoy a wide option of scholarships based on their performance on entrance and previous board examinations.
Scholarships are available for acedemically sound, deserving, marginalized( Dalit, Janajati, Martyr's Family Members, Earthquake Victim) as well as needy students who meet the criteria prescribed by the college.

Category 3-Under-priviliged/marginalized/ethnic/indigenous/dalit/differently able /earthquake victims students as recommended by NEB
Category 4 - special promoter scholarship. awarded to academically sound and needy students from the community school background.
