Faculties
In Department of Humanities & Social Science, it has teaching faculties from their own experts from other agencies and departments. Our faculties have extensive experiences in different disciplines and are committed to produce highest academic standard.
Teaching Methodology
The teaching methodology which is being adopted by the college incorporates a blend of lectures, class discussions and practical classes. Project works, audio-visual presentations, demonstrations and special talk-programs, will be highlighted on the priority list for the overall development of a student.

Infrastructure and Facilities
Classrooms: The college focuses on small lecture sizes to consolidate individual learning needs and to meet the specific needs required by the students. Classrooms are well ventilated and comfortable.
Laboratories: The laboratory are ideally equipped with all the necessary instruments and materials required to strengthen the theoretical concepts thorough the practical classes. Students have access to the IT/Computer Laboratory for the high speed, free internet access as a valuable research and learning tool on the college premises.The computer laboratory includes the latest PC's, on a one to one basis.
Library: Library is well stocked with all the necessary subject text-books both for the reference and the issue. The books collection contain both the academic and the professional journal/periodicals on general subjects to cater the need for students overall personality development. The library is also digitized and provides the right environment for the students to go through their subjects.
College premises: Recently, the college has purchased around 10 Ropanies of land at Maitidevi-Old Baneshwor height, and the construction of a Hi-tech new building is underway and will be completed by 2020/2021.
Sports Facilities/Extra-Curricular Activities
A student is considered complete with a well developed, all-round personality if s/he adept, not just in academics but also in the field of sports and extracurricular activities.
The college has a provision for students to explore their talents in various games like Basketball, Cricket, Football, Futsal, Martial Arts, Volleyball and indoor games like Table Tennis, Badminton, and Chess. The students are encouraged to participate in intra and inter-college tournaments. The annual college sports events will every student an opportunity to participate and excel in their chosen sport. As part of ECA, the students are enthusiastically prepared and promoted to take part in various National and International competitions like Debates, Essays, Quiz Contests, Music and Dance, Talent Hunt, Beauty Pageants, Exhibitions, Spelling Contests, Robotics, Project Works, and Arts & Literature, etc.
Hostel facilities/ transportation/ Cafeteria
Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. Hostel students are provided hygienic food with five regular meals a day. The hostel offers its students extensive tutorial classes in major subjects.
The college has a well managed fleet of the buses or the pick-up and dropping off of students to and from various hubs of the city, for hassle free movement to and from the college.
The college runs a cafeteria which provides a variety of hygienically prepared food at reasonable and wallet-friendly prices especially to meet the requirements of the students.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
A wide range of scholarships is provided to academically sound, deserving and marginalized (Dalit, Janajati. Martyr's Family Members) as well as needy students who meet the criteria prescribed by the college.
Category 1- Based on the SLC results.
Category 2-Based on entrance examination results.
Category 3-Under-privileged/marginalized/ethnic/indigenous/scheduled cast (dalit)/differently able as per rule.
Category 4 - Special Promoter Scholarship, awarded to academically sound and needy students from the community school background.
Category 5 - Students with outstanding talents in sports and ECA recognized at the national and international level.
Category 6 - Scholarship as recommended by NEB.
Note:
1. Only applicable for Grade XI
2. To continue the scholarship in Grade XII, the students will have to prove their academic performance in the Grade XI NEB Exam results according to the college standards.
