Tribhuvan University’s Institute of Science and Technology introduced its three-year B.Sc. programme in Environmental Science since 1997 and upgraded to four-year course from 2012. The revised four-year B.Sc. Environmental Science curriculum aims to include some of the most pressing and contemporary environmental issues such as climate change, disaster risk management and advances in modelling, and other topics.

Universities in Nepal are offering environmental science programs as an interdisciplinary subject after the 1990’s. Tribhuvan University is a pioneer institution to initiate courses in Environmental Science, B.Sc. in 1997 and M.Sc. in 2001. The B.Sc. Environmental Science is offered in 17 campuses in different parts of the country.

Eligibility

The candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examinations (with Biological Stream) with Minimum 'C' grade in all subjects to be eligible for admission in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Environmental Science program of Tribhuvan University.
