Top Mechanical Engineering Colleges in Nepal

Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University offer BE Mechanical Engineering programs. The BE Mechanical program is run through only the university's constituent campuses: Tribhuvan University's Purwanchal Campus, Paschimanchal Campus, Thapathali Campus, and Pulchowk Campus. 

Kathmandu University offers four different specializations in BE Mechanical Engineering: automobile, Hydropower, Design and manufacturing, and Energy Technology. All these specializations are offered through the KU School of Engineering. 

In addition to a general BE in Mechanical Engineering, Nepal offers three specialized programs:

• Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering
• Bachelor in Automobile Engineering
• BE in Biomedical Engineering

Pulchowk Campus offers a BE in Aerospace Engineering, while the College of Biomedical Engineering and Applied Sciences (CBEAS) provides a BE in Biomedical Engineering. The BE in Automobile Engineering program is available at both IOE Thapathali Campus and IOE Pashchimanchal Campus.
