Tribhuvan University launched a four-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) course under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in the academic year 2076/077. Since its inception, the number of colleges offering the BA program and the seats available for enrollment have increased significantly.

As of 2024, 254 colleges, including public, community, and private institutions, are offering the BA program.

Bachelor of Arts at Purbanchal University

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) program at Purbanchal University is designed to enhance students' conceptual and theoretical understanding, as well as their methodological skills in various subjects.
