Shitala Secondary School is established in 1990 A.D (2047 BS). It is a community-based government school located at Balaju Height in Kathmandu. It offers education programs from Nursery to Grade 12 and is affiliated with the National Examinations Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education.

Admission Guidelines

The admission procedure is friendly and transparent.

  • Every parent shall visit and fill out the given form first.
  • Admission is on a First Come, First Serve Basis.
  • Admission up to Grades KG will be through a formal interaction with parents
  • Admission to Grades 1 to 3 will be via interview of parents and students
  • Above than grade 3 will be based on the written entrance test.
  • Date and time for the interaction/entrance test will be intimated to the parents.
  • The Registration fee can be submitted by the parents before entrance test.
  • Registration charge is non-refundable & needs to be paid once a year.
  • Incomplete registration form will not be accepted.
  • Kindly submit below mentioned documents along with remaining amount within 15 days of submitting registration charges, failing which the offer of admission stand cancelled & the seat will be offered to another applicant.
    • A valid certificate of date of birth
    • Two passport-size photos
    • Two stamp-size photos of the child
    • Age limits as per government rule
    • Parents must come with the students
    • Interview of the child and parents are mandatory
    • Children must have the basic skill and competencies
    • Limited seats will be available for new admission
    • Transfer Certificate from the school last attended
    • A copy of the grade-sheet or mark sheet
    • The interview will be taken in all subjects
    • The written test must be succeed in compulsory subjects

Note: Admission will be strictly on the basis of merit, written test, and interview

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The school offers moderate fee structures and provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students. Scholarship will be decided after the SMC allows principal to do so.
