Ripumardini Sainik Secondary School

Ripumardini Sainik Secondary School is co-educational school which was established on 6th Falgun, 2061 B.S. in Bansbari, Kathmandu under the aegis ofNepali army and in the guardianship of Nepali Army Wives’ Association (NAWA) with the motive of accelerating the quality education specially to those offspring of Nepali army who got Martyrdom as well as victim in the casualties. 

Ripumardini Sainik Secondary School was inaugurated by former Crown Princess Himani Rajaya Laxmi Devi Shah in grand assembly on 6 th Falgun, 2061 BS. In the preliminary phase of the school, the classes were commenced from Nursery to Three Standard as a Primary School and gradually it was upgraded and expanded to higher secondary school with faculty of Science including the children of both army personnel and civilian in an affordable cost. It is entirely run and looked after by Nepal Army Welfare Fund (NAWF). It focuses on quality education and in the holistic development of the students. 

It has been adopted the ICT based, practical and child-centered education in the school. The school has very remarkable output in the results in SEE and +2 board exam. The pivotal target of the school is to make the students very devoted, patriotic, capable, honest and responsible citizen towards the nation and the nationality. 

Besides the coverage of the curriculum, it has been emphasized for the promotion of the global dimensions and the international ethos in the school through the international programs like ISA and Agora Speakers’ Club. 

It is not only prioritized on the academic aspects but also emphasized on extra-curricular and co- curricular activities for overall development of the students. For physical fitness of the students and their future career, different sorts of training and programmes have been organized. “A good sportsmanship is the most important factors of games “so various sport events have been conducted.
