Since 2061 B.S., Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya in Pokhara has been providing quality education at an affordable cost to both army personnel and civilians. Their motto "Students Learn to Think and Act Themselves" reflects their commitment to helping every pupil reach their full potential. The institution is situated in a beautiful environment covering an area of 300 ropanies and is operated by the welfare fund of the Nepalese Army. The Mahavidyalaya was inaugurated by the former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba in a grand ceremony. Its aim is to ensure that every student receives a well-rounded education, enabling them to achieve the highest level of success possible.

ABOUT

The school is located at Phoolbari, Pokhara in the Kaski district. The schools run under the affiliation of the National Examination Board (NEB). It offers plus two (+2) courses in Science, Management and Humanities faculty besides the regular school till grade 10.

Library

At the Mahavidyalaya, there are central, junior, and reference libraries available for students of all levels, which are all equipped with modern facilities. These libraries boast an extensive collection of books, journals, and newspapers, providing students with ample resources for their academic pursuits.

Transportation

The Mahavidyalaya has a reliable fleet of buses for the students at affordable costs.The bus routes are arranged to suit the convenience of the students as far as possible after the consultation with the concerned parents or guardians.

Science Lab

The Mahavidyalaya features fully-equipped labs for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, English, and Geography. Additionally, there is a clay and craft room that serves as a lab for various artistic endeavors. These labs are supervised by qualified teachers who guide students through a variety of experiments and activities.

Computer Lab

Our computer lab offers computer services to all of our students, recognizing the importance of information technology in shaping their futures. Equipped with new technology computers, our labs are diligently maintained to ensure optimal functionality.

Dining Hall

The Mahavidyalaya features a spacious dining hall where students and staff can enjoy breakfast, lunch, khaja, dinner, or supper. Fresh, healthy, and balanced meals are provided at all times to promote good nutrition and overall well-being.

Playground

The Mahavidyalaya boasts a vast playground suitable for a wide range of games and sports events. Health Center

A separate medical department is available at the Mahavidyalaya for first aid purposes. Students can easily access the health center and receive free medical advice whenever necessary.

Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls at our institution to accommodate students from various districts.
