Kavre English Secondary School is situated at the heart of an ancient and historical city Panauti. Panauti is one of the socially and culturally rich cities of the Kavrepalanchok district, which is 35 km east of Kathmandu. Panauti is an ancient city of the Newar community, which is also famous for the Makar Mela, a one-month-long religious festival celebrated every twelve years. Panauti is not only culturally riched but also renowned for natural resources and agricultural products. Kavre English Secondary School is a non-profit educational institution with the motto “Education for Peace, Creativity and Excellence.” It is managed by Kavre Education Development Foundation as Private Trust. Its solo vision is to impart need responsive quality education. It was first established as an extension program of Kabhre Secondary School, another educational institution run under the same foundation. It was affiliated to Higher Secondary Education in 2063 B.S. Since then it has been running the classes from Play Group to Grade 12.
