Chandeswary Secondary School is located at a serene academic environment of Ugrachandi Nala-1, Kabhre. It is a community based school established in 2004 BS. Appearing in SLC examination of 2034 BS, the school has produced 37 SLC batches. With the affiliation of National Examination Board of Nepal, it has been conducting plus two programs in Education and Management since 2064 BS.
Now the school has a well decorated modern building with the support of Room To Read, Village Development Committee, Distinct Development Committee, District Education Office and local people. With the aim of providing IT knowledge to the students, there is a well computer lab (16 computers) with the collaboration of Room To Read. The Room To Read has also supported the school for Science Lab and Library.
Founded during the Rana Regime, Chandeswary Secondary School has its own historical background. It is the second school established in Kabhre district. Considering the importance of English, now almost all the government schools have started English medium classes. Chandeswary has conducted the primary block in English medium under Bal Bikash block. The school has aim to run all the classes in English medium in future. Currently, the school has about four hundred students from school level to plus two level.
