Gyankunj Secondary School & Freeborn Gyankunj College are running under Gyankunj School Cooperative Society. It is, a cooperative educational institute, established in 2059 B.S. with great supports & participation of intellectuals & hard workers enthusiastic team. It is located at Banepa-5 Kavre in peaceful and highly pleasant environment. 

It is running under the principle of co-operative system. Its main objective is to provide quality education and impart moral value to the students for their successful and the best life. It is planning to cultivate talent and potentiality of students so of 21st century. It has wide range of experience & visions in educational field. Gyankunj H.S. School & College always seeks helps, co-operation and suggestions from all stake holders.

Situated in a peaceful environment, Gyankunj has been conducting plus two Management program affiliated to NEB, Nepal and BBS affiliated to TU. The college has proposed MBS (TU) and CA (ICAN). There are more than seventeen hundred students from school level to diploma level. It has provided job holders to more than eighty.
