AIMS Academy

Founded in 2048 B.S. (1992 A.D.), Advance International Model Secondary School (AIMS Academy) started with just 55 students in classes 1-5 and has since grown into a leading educational institution with over 600 students enrolled from pre-school to grade 12. We pride ourselves on being a beacon of quality education that is accessible to families from various social, cultural, and financial backgrounds across Lalitpur and Kathmandu Valley. Over the last three decades, more than 5,000 students have graduated from AIMS Academy, many of whom have gone on to build successful careers both in Nepal and internationally.

At AIMS, we focus on personalized education. Our experienced and passionate faculty, most of whom have more than ten years of teaching experience, ensure that every student receives individual attention. This commitment to quality education is at the heart of our institution, fostering a cohesive alumni network and creating memories and relationships that last a lifetime.

Our state-of-the-art five-storey building accommodates around 600 students and is equipped with modern facilities such as physics, chemistry, biology, and computer labs. We also have ample space for sports and extra-curricular activities, reinforcing our commitment to holistic education. To maintain quality and ensure personalized attention, we limit class sizes to 40-45 students.

Montessori Program at AIMS

Our Montessori program offers a safe, playful, and engaging environment tailored to early childhood development. Designed for children in their formative years, the Montessori approach encourages self-directed learning in a home-like setting, focusing on cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth. Certified Montessori teachers interact daily with parents to assess and enhance the child's development, fostering curiosity and individualized learning.

Primary and Secondary Education at AIMS

At AIMS, we offer education from Grade 1 to Grade 10 in accordance with the Nepal Ministry of Education’s curriculum. Our innovative teaching strategies go beyond the government-mandated syllabus, incorporating creative activities and assessments to keep students engaged and improve academic performance. We conduct formative and summative assessments regularly to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

The primary language of instruction is English, and we also offer additional language options, such as Sanskrit. Students also participate in a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, such as essay writing, debate competitions, and field trips, all designed to reinforce classroom learning and teach life lessons.

At AIMS, sports and arts are integral parts of the curriculum, giving students opportunities to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, promoting a well-rounded education.
