BE/B.Arch Entrance Exam Notice (2081/2082) - Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering, Entrance Examination Board has published the online application form submission notice for BE/B.Arch entrance examination for the academic year 2081/82. The entrance examination of BE/B.Arch will commence from Bhadra 16, 2081. 

Important Details

  1. Applicant has to fill out the online application form available at entrance.ioe.edu.np
  2. Entrance exam form submission starts from Shrawan 27, 2081, 10 AM onwards
  3. Application Form Deadline: Bhadra 09, 2081 up to 5 PM. 
  4. Entrance Examination Date:  Bhadra 16, 2081 onwards 
  5. Online form can be filled from anywhere, where there is facility of internet.
  6. Entrance exam fee: Rs. 2000, must be deposited in the bank account of the Institute of Engineering in Account Number 00915056064 from any branch of Siddhartha Bank.

Eligibility

  1. Students who have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level or Higher Secondary Level or A Level or Engineering Diploma Level or equivalent examination with at least 45% of the total marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 11 and 12 and have obtained a minimum C Grade in each subject in the Final Grade (in case of NEB) are eligible to apply and participate in the entrance examination.
  2. Students who have appeared in the final examination of Class 12 or equivalent or in the sixth semester examination of Engineering Diploma are also eligible to apply.
  3. Foreign nationals are eligible to apply only for the full-fee program.

Information Regarding Entrance Exams and Admissions

  1. The entrance exam, conducted through a computer-based method utilizing information technology, will consist of objective-type questions. There will be 100 questions, and 10% of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  2. According to the syllabus published by the IOE Entrance Exam Board the computer-based entrance exam will be two hours long and cover subjects such as English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  3. Additional information regarding the entrance exams and admissions will be available later on the IOE website in the document titled "Detailed Information on Entrance Exams and Campus Admissions—2081."

Quota Information

Candidates wishing to enroll in various quotas and reserved seats (such as women's quota, teacher/staff quota, inclusive disadvantaged reservation quota, reserved seats for government and government-owned institutions, and reserved seats for foreign nationals) at affiliated campuses must prepare all necessary documents as specified in the "Detailed Information on Entrance Exams and Campus Admissions - 2081" before the commencement of the IOE campus college admission schedule.

Eligible for MOE Scholarships

Candidates who pass the Bachelor's level B.E./B.Arch entrance exams for the academic year 2081/2082 conducted by the Tribhuvan University Institute of Engineering and meet the legal standards set forth by the Nepal Government's Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology's scholarship regulations will be eligible candidates for scholarships in higher education engineering subjects provided by the ministry in the year 2081/2082.
