ABOUT

TRUNGRAM INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY, Secondary School, Popularly known as TIA is located in Hattigauda, Kathmandu. It was established in 1995 by his Eminence Dr Trungram Gyaltrul Rimpoche as one of the many projects of UTBF (United Trungram Buddhist foundation). His Eminence believes that with proper foundation it is possible to build a school comparable with the schools of other foreign countries. The founder wishes to produce students with genuine feeling of respect and understanding for other people and life in all its form. 

An institution should create a lively environment where the students can develop their own unique and noble personalities by discovering their hidden talents and potential. TIA is situated on twelve ropanies of land in Hattigauda, Bansbari, always from the noise and distractions of Kathmandu City. It Provides a relaxed and peaceful environment in which to learn and grow.

Learning and teaching are at their best in an environment which is sage and attractive, where all members of the community are valued, where rights and responsibilities are clear, where support and challenge are provided and where achievements of all kinds are recognized. TIA's key purpose is to provide such an environment that will promote to establishing a school within Nepal with academic standard comparable to the best schools in Asia.Vision:
