Purnachandi Boarding Secondary School (PUBOSS) is located at Kumaripati, Lalitpur. The school was founded in 2037 B.S. and has been offering quality education since its very inception. Purnachandi Boarding School was upgraded as PUBOSS (Purnachandi Boarding Secondary School) in 2066 B.S. Currently, Purnachandi Boarding Secondary School (PUBOSS) offers classes from Nursery to Grade 12. The School offers Plus Two programs in Science, Management, and Humanities under the affiliation of the National Examination Board (NEB).

Salient Features

Hospital Facilities

PUBOSS has a mutual agreement with Ganeshman Singh Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Lalitpur. Therefore, in case of any emergency or health-related issue, students will be taken there for immediate treatment, where they will be treated by expert doctors, nurses, and medical experts. Moreover, all the students of PUBOSS are provided with free emergency services and a discount of 25% will be given for general checkups in the hospital.

Computer Training

After getting an admission, every student must take one or one-half month’s Computer basic training free of cost in order to enhance their computer knowledge. Besides the basic course, PUBOSS will provide a web page designing package with minimum cost.

Hostel

PUBOSS provides a separate hostel for boys and girls with a homely environment. This facility is provided especially for students who come from outside the capital as well as for the students of Kathmandu Valley proper for their better study.

Library

The School has a full-fledged library to cater to every educational need of a student. The library has the facility of providing the students with the required textbooks for the entire academic year at the time of admission. These books, however, have to be returned to the library on the aforesaid date.

Eligibility For 10+2 programs

Students must have passed SEE or equivalent to enroll in 10+2 programs.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The school provides the scholarships for the needy students as per their skills, talents as well as their performance in the entrance exam during the time of admissions for the new students in all the streams – Science, Management and Humanities.
