Padma Kanya Vidyashram Secondary School, known in Nepali as पद्मकन्या विद्याश्रम माध्यामिक विद्यालय, is a prestigious government school located in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, Nepal. Founded on January 21, 1948 (2004 Magh 8), by the then Rana Prime Minister Padmasamsher Jawara, the school was established to advance women's education, recognizing its crucial role in societal development. Initially operating in the upper floor of the Durbar High School, it later moved to its current location, supported by 13 Ropani of land provided by the founder. The school is affiliated with the National Examination Board (NEB) and approved by the Ministry of Education, offering programs from Grade One to Ten (SEE) and Plus Two levels in Management, Humanities, and Education streams. Over the years, Padma Kanya Vidyashram has produced notable alumni, including the renowned literary artist Parijat (Bishnukumari Waiba), and has been a pioneer in nurturing thousands of qualified and capable women.

Today, Padma Kanya Vidyashram Secondary serves around 9,000 students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. It offers classes in both Nepali and English mediums from Grade 6 to 10 and includes additional courses in English, Mathematics, and Computer Science, all without any monthly fees up to the secondary level. Admission Guidelines
