Mangalodaya Secondary School

Mangalodaya Secondary School is located in Thankot of Kathmandu district. This is a community school which got its approval to run grade 11 in 2074. 

Mangalodaya School has trained and motivated faculty members. The school believes that “teachers matter” and it invests in capacity building of its staff . 

The school regularly organizes in-service training sessions for teachers so that they can keep abreast with the latest innovations in education. Several senior faculty members have taken Master's-level courses in education at the Bank Street College of Education in New York and observed Bank Street School classrooms. They have applied the knowledge and skills they learnt there in their own classrooms and have also shared this information with other teachers, particularly through the teacher training courses offered at Rato Bangala.
