Design Thinking

Design thinking is a methodology for creative problem-solving that can inform teaching practices or be taught to students for real-world projects. By engaging in human-centered design challenges, individuals develop creative confidence and gain a valuable problem-solving tool. Design thinking fosters creative confidence, collaboration, strategic decision-making, effective communication, student engagement, and satisfaction. It also provides educators with new ways to connect with students while prioritizing effective teaching and learning practices.

Technology

Adhyayan School integrates technology seamlessly into education, fostering confidence in students to navigate evolving technological tools. They believe in infusing learning with enjoyment through technology. Google Suite, a set of web-based programs, enhances collaboration between students and teachers. Within the Maker Space, known as the Design Realization Garage, students engage in building, designing, and innovating through the design thinking process. The Design Lab, crafted by Samsung, provides students with the resources to immerse themselves in the creative design cycle. Similarly, the Computer & Technology Lab, also designed by Samsung, offers curated materials from platforms like Khan Academy, allowing students to learn at their own pace or with instructors.

Reggio Emillia Approach

Loris Malaguzzi's emphasis on providing diverse opportunities for children to enhance motivation and enrich experiences underscores the philosophy of Reggio Emilia schools, which gained global recognition since 1991. Developed over four decades within a municipal system, this Italian approach values children as active citizens with rights and emphasizes their curiosity and ability to construct learning. Guided by leaders like Malaguzzi and influenced by renowned psychologists and philosophers, Reggio Emilia education prioritizes relationships, collaboration, and creating supportive environments, with parents playing a crucial role in their children's learning journeys. Teachers are viewed as partners, fostering environments rich in possibilities for exploration and discovery, with learning seen as a dynamic process guided by observation, reflection, and collaboration among educators and children. • The admission process starts in the month of Magh for preschool and in the month of Chaitra for Grade 1 – Grade 10, however, the registration forms are open throughout the year;
• Admission form is available online on the school's website and upon registration, Adhyayan School's admission team will follow up with details;
• Students and parents will be called for an interview and interaction;
• Parents will be notified should their children be selected and further admission process can begin.
