Bachelor in Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) is another unique program for candidates interested in the hospitality and tourism sector. Seven different universities in Nepal offer this program. Though the name of the program is slightly different, all of these programs aim to produce competent managers to handle the travel and tourism sectors.
For students interested in mountain tourism, Janapriya Multiple Campus, affiliated with Tribhuvan University, offers a Bachelor of Mountain Tourism Management, while Nepal Mountain Academy provides a Bachelor of Mountaineering Studies (BMS).
Seven universities in Nepal offer programs in Travel and Tourism Studies. Although there is some overlap with the Bachelor of Hospitality Management program, these programs focus specifically on travel and tourism.
Tribhuvan University offers a Bachelor in Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) program through three colleges, while Pokhara University offers a BBA-TT program through Apex and Citizen Colleges. Purbanchal University provides a Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Studies, and Lumbini Buddhist University offers a BTTM with honors in Buddhism.
Additionally, the FHS Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management, affiliated with Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, Austria, is a popular program offered at IST College.
