List of QAA Certified Colleges in Nepal: Ensuring Quality Education

The Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) program launched by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in Nepal is a significant parameter in the reform and development of higher education in the country. QAA has been recognized as a crucial mission for improving the quality of education in Nepal. Accreditation, which is an integral part of QAA, involves the evaluation of higher education institutions (HEIs) or specific educational programs to formally recognize their compliance with predetermined minimal criteria or standards.

As of November 1, 2024, 97 Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of Nepal have been awarded with QAA certification.  The list of QAA Certified colleges is given here.
