At SSDRC we believe that every autistic individual is unique and has their own needs, challenges and gifts. We strive to discover and understand the strengths of every individual child and develop the areas where they need the greatest attention.
At SSRDC, children with autism and other special educational conditions are taught using a mixture of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Montessori Methods, which are adapted to the specific needs of each individual. The experienced staff at SSDRC also use music and art to improve expertise at the academy. We mostly serve children aged 3 to 13, but we also provide a variety of support programs and technical opportunities to older adolescents and young adults.
As the school develops progressive programs to allow the children to enhance their everyday living and life skills, rehabilitation programs are at the heart of the curriculum design. Physiotherapy, speech and physical therapy, dance, art and music therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, yoga therapy, and sensory integration are some of the immersive and relaxing techniques the school uses.
The children benefit from SSDRC's vocational training and employment opportunities. Vocational services are important for the children's development of individuality and integration into society. The school also provides the disadvantaged populations, teachers, institutions, and people with vocational services and training programs. The school generates funds for the operations through training programs and Charity Shop.
