ABOUT

Founded in 2061 B.S. (2004 A.D.), Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya in Pokhara has consistently provided high-quality education to both army personnel and civilian students at an affordable cost. The institution, which operates under the welfare fund of the Nepalese Army, is located in a picturesque area covering 300 ropanies of land, offering a peaceful and conducive environment for learning. Inaugurated by former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the Mahavidyalaya has always remained committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals capable of excelling in all aspects of life.

With the motto "Students Learn to Think and Act Themselves," the school emphasizes the development of independent thinking, leadership, and responsibility in its students. The institution aims to ensure that every student reaches their full potential, with a balanced education that prepares them for future success.

The school offers classes from Nursery to Grade 10, following the curriculum set by the National Examination Board (NEB). In addition to the school education, Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya also offers +2 courses in Science, Management, and Humanities to provide students with diverse academic options. Furthermore, since 2024, the school has gained affiliation with Tribhuvan University to offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, further expanding its educational offerings.

Library

At the Mahavidyalaya, there are central, junior, and reference libraries available for students of all levels, which are all equipped with modern facilities. Transportation

The Mahavidyalaya has a reliable fleet of buses for the students at affordable costs.The bus routes are arranged to suit the convenience of the students as far as possible after the consultation with the concerned parents or guardians.

Science Lab

The Mahavidyalaya features fully-equipped labs for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, English, and Geography. Additionally, there is a clay and craft room that serves as a lab for various artistic endeavors. These labs are supervised by qualified teachers who guide students through a variety of experiments and activities.

Computer Lab

Our computer lab offers computer services to all of our students, recognizing the importance of information technology in shaping their futures. Equipped with new technology computers, our labs are diligently maintained to ensure optimal functionality.

Dining Hall

Separate hostels are provided for boys and girls at our institution to accommodate students from various districts.
