Rajarshi Gurukul is committed to providing students with an optimal learning atmosphere in which they can discover and develop their particular potential. The national curriculum, developed by the Curriculum Development Center and delivered by the District Education Board of Nepal and IPC (International Primary Curriculum), London, has been meticulously enhanced by Rajarshi Gurukul. This curriculum has been modified to blend theoretical and practical knowledge while taking into account each student's aptitude and learning style. We use a kid-centered, highly tailored progressive learning style in which each child actively participates in their learning. Rather than focusing solely on academic performance, we aim to educate and develop the whole kid, taking into account the talents he or she will need in the future. Experiential learning, or learning via hands-on activities, is something we believe in.
Rajarshi Gurukul is an autonomous progressive school for children ages four to eighteen. Mr. Rajesh Chaudhary launched RG to create an engaged and socially responsible community of active learners. Small class sizes and a devoted team at RG School help children develop confidence in their skills to explore, learn, show compassion, and be inspired. From producing plants in their community garden to meeting with people who work and live in Nepal, our students are immersed in the world. We use open-ended materials and experiences in the classroom and emphasize inquiry. We recognize that operating an independent school with low tuition rates is difficult, but we are committed to working toward our objective of making RG School a feasible option for individuals in our community without money being a barrier.
Our Background: The promoters, founders, and friends of Rajarshi Gurukul were looking for a progressive school in Nepal with small class sizes and an International Standard of Education. When the idea for a new school germinated, the planners wanted to make sure that the school met international standards. The first class of twenty-two pupils began learning together in Rajarshi Gurukul in the fall of 2013, with students from Grades I to V. In Bhaktapur, Nepal, the RG School is housed in a lovely and spacious facility.
Our teachers profoundly understand academics, child psychology, and cognitive, social, and emotional development. They were hand-picked by Nepal's best and brightest teachers. They serve as guides rather than rulers, helping the children develop into self-sufficient, creative, and insightful thinkers and equipping them to meet the world's difficulties.
The school is located in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur. It offers basic schooling and +2 courses with the affiliation from NEB.
