ABOUT
Chanakya Secondary School is the prime institution established in 2066 BS with the primary objective of providing excellent educational service to students from Montessori to twelfth grade. Currently it offer Secondary Courses (+2 levels) in Management & Science (proposed) with it's own infrastructural facilities in an independent block. Its sister concern, Chanakya College of Management offers BBS and MBS program with affiliation from Tribhuvan University.
Chanakya stands out from the crowd with its immense growing potential as an institution. Since the time of its inception, a team of dedicated professionals have constantly worked on catering the quality educational service to its students. The linkage between young students and group of expert faculty members will support students aspiring to become excellent in the field of management to achieve their goals in the right way.
With a wide institutional space of 20000 sq.ft, Chanakya provides highly spacious and well- equipped classrooms along with all the essential amenities serving the best need of the students. Computer lab with broadband internet services is provided to enhance research and technical skills.

Taking the unforeseen natural calamities into consideration, the safety and preventive measures of everyone within the college premises is ensured. Security system is always under the watch with Control mechanism of CCTV cameras and DVR system.

Chanakya Secondary School / College Bus service is provided to support students commuting from Bhaktapur and Kavre areas. As our College is minutes away from the lively & vibrant center of Naya Bato Thimi, the location is well served by public transportation.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria with prerequisites of hygienic food in subsidized rates is provided within the college premises to student and staffs at their break time on all weekdays.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES & COUNSELING
We value the participation of students in different extracurricular activities to bolster the capacity of creative learning and recognize their potential. This platform is given to students to allow them explore the value of leadership and team spirit. Different activities such as Creative writing, quiz contests, debate, spelling bee, dance competition, musical shows and talent shows are conducted in par with Academic routine. Physical infrastructures are provided as a part of ECA resources such as basketball ground, table-tennis, badminton, chess and more.

Educational Trainings
Chanakya Secondary School organizes periodical educational training programs to enhance the practical knowledge beyond theory classes in the officially linked business houses, followed by project works that are evaluated and marked by the external invigilator from NEB Board at the end of each session.
Excursions
Chanakya Secondary School organizes long and short excursion, annually, to the locations out of Kathmandu Valley as a part of +2 program, so that the students have an opportunity to explore various aspects of commerce culture, people and beautiful landscapes of the country. Excursion Reports are assigned to the students on such trips which are evaluated and marked by the external invigilator from the NEB Board at the end of each session.
Admission Guidelines
ADMISSION PREREQUISITE
The admission procedure consists of examination conducted by the college followed by the interview. To be eligible to appear in the entrance examination the candidates must have passed SEE or equivalent examination from Nepal or foreign institution with minimum grades as quoted by the National Education Board (NEB) in each subject.
Upon submission of Application Forms wit necessary information, the candidate will have to appear for a regular entrance exam on a scheduled date. The Entrance test comprises the questions related to Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge.
With a successful completion of entrance exam the students will need to again appear for an interview conducted by the institution with their parents/guardian. Students who have cleared the entrance examination and interview are eligible for admission at Chanakya Secondary School in +2 program (Grade XI)
