Alpha's Secondary School

Pedagogy:  The school adopts Montessori-based teaching in junior classes and material-based teaching methods, and prepares audio-video materials for every subject, uses multimedia and innovative board technology, launches regular assessments of the e-assessment system.

Teaching methods like demonstration, presentation, discussion, and project work are prioritized. Interactive and audiovisual classes are extensively conducted to support the teaching-learning activities.

Curriculum: Alpha follows the curriculum as prescribed by the Ministry of Education Department, the Government of Nepal. The subjects include English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social studies, HPE, Computer, Vocational studies, and optional subjects.

ECA CLASSES: Alpha conducts several ECA classes for the all-around development of the students and to teach the students social behavior, discipline, self-motivation, and leadership skills. They include dance class, arts & crafts class, speech, quiz, elocution, etc. Games and sports classes are also conducted weekly in order to maintain fitness and health.

School cafeteria: Alpha runs a school cafeteria intending to provide nutritious and hygienic food to our students. Students get various types of meals to eat of their choice. Junk food and packed food is strictly prohibited in the school area.

Admissions in PLAY GROUP is open throughout the year. The children above thirty months can get admitted. An admission form is required to be filled by the parents before admitting the child. A very low and affordable fee is charged for the students for all levels. The fee includes the monthly school fees and lunch fee (optional).

For admission in upper grades, the admission will be open in month of Chitra (March/April) for the next academic session. The admissions test is compulsory for all levels. The admission upto class nine is opened for all sessions.
