BBA (Accounting & Finance) with International Business prepares students for a wide range of careers within the financial sector, from portfolio and risk management to corporate finance, accounting, and trading. Also, it helps student to acquire in-depth knowledge of key financial concepts, theories and models.

Eligibility

Academic Level

NEB +2 overall aggregate of 2.2 CGPA (55%) or above with each subject (theory and practical) grade D+ or above, and SEE Mathematics score of C+ (50%) or above

For A-Levels, a minimum of 3.5 credits and at least a grade of D and above

English Proficiency

English NEB XII Marks must be more than 60% or 2.4 GPA

Applicants who do not meet the aforementioned English language requirements will have to take one of the following internationally recognized English tests:

  • IELTS overall band 5.5 with minimum 5.5 in each band
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE) score above 47.

For Level 4 or Year 1 BIT

Pass in General Paper or English Language or IELTS 6 or PTE 53

Students who do not meet the above requirements will be required to enroll in a University Foundation Course (UFC). UFC is a one-year academic program at London Metropolitan University (LMU) aimed to help students meet the prerequisites for undergraduate entrance.

University Foundation Certificate Entry Requirements

  • NEB +2 total aggregate of 45% or 1.8 GGPA* and above, and Year 12 English score of 45% or 1.8 GPA* and above, or
  • 2 ‘A’ level subject passes, and a pass in General Paper (A or AS Level) or English (A or AS Level) with Grade E and above.

If you don't match the above-mentioned English requirements, you can take one of the following English tests instead: IELTS 4.5 or a Pearson Test of English score of 37 or higher.

Semester 1

  • Academic English for Undergraduate Study: 30 Credits
  • Undergraduate Study and Research Skills: 30 Credits
  • Foundational Mathematics: 15 Credits
  • Introduction to IT: 15 Credits

Semester 2

  • Academic English for Undergraduate Study: 30 Credits
  • Undergraduate Study and Research Skills: 30 Credits
  • Foundational Statistics: 15 Credits
  • Introduction to Business: 15 Credits

*London Metropolitan University evaluates all additional qualifications on a case-by-case basis.

Admission Criteria

Students who have completed or are scheduled to complete their higher secondary final exams can apply to the institution immediately with their academic certificates, citizenship certificates or passports, birth certificates, or citizenship of either parent. Provisional admissions are available to students awaiting results. When you arrive at the institution, the admissions team will review the entry requirements listed below and assist you with the application process. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet the eligibility criteria.
