Morgan International College is affiliated to Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) offering programs in Science, Management, and Humanities. For the graduate level, it offers courses in BIM, BBS, BCA, BBM, BA/BSWC, and MBS affiliated to Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu whereas BBA and BHM programs affiliated to Purbanchal University, Biratnagar in separate building and premises. The college is soon to start its programs for GCE - A-Level, MBA/EMBA, BCA, BIT, BPH & BMLT classes shortly.

Admission Guidelines

ELIGIBILITY

For +2 Science Programs:

Students to enroll in grade 11 Science Subject Group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Agriculture) must score

GPA: 2.0
C+ in Science and Math
D+ English, Nepali and Social Studies

For +2 Management Programs:

Students to enroll in grade 11 and study following subjects (Mathematics/Accountancy/Economics/Computer Science/Teaching Mathematics/Elements of Finance/Jyotish/Business Mathematics/Cooperative Management, Business Studies/Geography/Psychology) must score

GPA: 1.6
D+ English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies

For +2 Humanities Programs:

Students must have completed SEE or equivalent with a minimum GPA 1.6. He/She should have minimum D+ in English, Nepali and Social Studies.

For BBM Programs:

Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized academic institute with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enroll in this program.

Students applying for the BBM program must fill in the application blank with all details of their personal information and past academic records. The selection of students shall be based on a three-stage screening process that includes written test, individual presentation and personal interview.

FOM shall conduct a Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) that will test the basic ability of the students in verbal ability and quantitative ability. The test shall be based on the SAT format. The colleges running the program shall conduct the individual presentations and interviews for selecting suitable candidates. The admission committee of the colleges has the final authority in selecting the students for the BBM program.

For BBS Programs:

Must have successfully completed the PCL or 10+2 in business/commerce or an equivalent course from a Higher Secondary School Board, or from Tribhuvan University, or from any other University/Board recognized by TU.
Must have scored at least D Plus (D+) in each subjects in 10+2
For BBA Programs:
Those students who have completed +2 Degree in Management and Science may apply. The applicant should appear and pass written entrance test taken by the University. Finally, he or she has to appear on personal interview conducted by particular college in which they want to enroll.

For BCA Programs:

Minimum D+ grade in each subject of grade 11 and 12 with CGPA 2.0 or more,Or Minimum score of second division marks in 10+2, PCL or equivalent in any discipline Or Students who have passed grade 11 and are waiting for supplementary exam (PURAK PARIKSHA) of grade 12 can also apply. However, they have to submit all the required documents at the time of admission.

For BIM Programs:

Students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations from recognized academic institute with second division (securing 45% and above) or 1.8 CGPA are eligible to enroll in this program.
OR
Successfully completed a twelve years schooling or equivalent from any University, Board or Institution recognized by Tribhuvan University securing a minimum of second division in the twelve year schooling or equivalent.
For BHM Programs:
Candidate should have completed schooling (10+2)/ intermediate or equivalent in any stream from recognized board or university with proficiency in English.
For BA/BASW Programs:
Students seeking admission in Social Work must have secured at least D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12, OR passed + 2 or Intermediate or PCL from TU or from any other institution recognized by TU with a minimum of 45% marks
For MBS Programs:

II. Eligibility Condition for Admission for MBS program

The student applying for admission to to MBS course must have successfully completed the BBS programme or a bachelor degree on any discipline from Tribhuvan University or from any other university recognized by Tribhuvan University

III. Admission Test

The Faculty of Management (FOM) shall conduct a Central Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the MBS level. Students eligible for MBS programme must sit in the CMT in order to qualify to apply for admission to the campuses offering the MBS programme. The FOM shall issue a score-sheet to each student appearing in the CMAT.The test carries a full marks of 100 and it must be completed within 90 minutes.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Scholarship/stipend will be awarded on the basis of SLC score and other criteria as mentioned below:

Full scholarship for 90% and above marks holders (50% tuition fee applicable).
Full scholarship for entrance topper, boys and girls separately (In admission fee only).
Full scholarship for district toppers (In admission fee only).
Monthly fee waiver for terminal exam topper (Regular 3 terminal exams).
50% admission fee waiver for 85% and above in SLC exam.
40% admission fee waiver for 80% and above in SLC exam.
30 % admission fee waiver with 75% and above marks in SLC exam.
25% admission fee waiver for students from remote areas.
25% admission fee waiver for students from martyrs´ & marginalized families.
