CG Institute of Management (CGIM), an initiative of Chaudhary Group (CG), is undertaken with the vision and objective of producing world class business managers and entrepreneurs who can lead business in today’s demanding and competitive environment.

To fulfill the above vision, CGIM is affiliated with Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT), Malaysia, an institution with the global presence, to offer a curriculum that complements theoretical knowledge with exposure to industry practices.

CGIM as an affiliate of LUCT, will be adhering to University’s prescribed teaching methodology that richly blends knowledge with on-the-job practical training and course work as practiced globally by renowned universities.

Research and Placement Cell

Research and Placement Cell in the CGIM is a key department of the institute. As the job market of Nepal is getting more and more competitive, CGIM will fully support it's students in establishing their career. The research and Placement cell is performing the following activities

  1. Arranging in plant training for students.
  2. Inviting various organizations for campus recruitment.
  3. Training to suit various needs of industry.
  4. Research based industry visits

For placement, a large number of prospective employers are contacted during the year and efforts are made to invite those companies to visit CG Institute of Management and to conduct campus recruitment. The objective of the R&P Cell is to look for a 100%.


Faculty represents a pool of highly experienced and accomplished academia and professionals that will shape the careers of the students by guiding them through every step of the learning process.

Teaching Methodology / Curriculum

The MBA/BBA program is based on the participative learning approach. The general teaching methodology of the program includes interactive lectures, students’ presentations, case studies, individual and group projects, seminars, and practicum. CGIM develop and maintain working relationships which support a cooperative, collaborative and congenial learning climate and foster links with the corporate sectors / community. CGIM believes student centric approach in teaching learning environment. It constitutes of:

  • Industry specific course content.
  • Value added courses – Personality Development, Career Planning and Mapping, Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Corporate Spirituality, Behavior Management, Knowledge Management, etc.
  • Industry – Academia Dialogue.
  • Case study, article review and research based teaching approach.
  • Presentation, Project camp, Seminar, Field Work. (Industrial tour in each semester)
  • Classes from academics and professionals.

Admission guidelines


To be eligible for applying to study an undergraduate program at CGIM, you must have a CGPA of 2.0 in 4.0 point scale or a second division 45% and 12 years of formal schooling in any discipline.


Any applicant seeking admission into the MBA program must meet the following minimum requirements to become eligible to apply for the MBA program:

  1. A minimum of 15 years of formal education (12 years of Schooling plus three years of Graduation).
  2. Must have secured a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or 45 percent at Bachelor’s level. 

The final decision on admission is taken on the basis of performance scores of an applicant in the admission tests to be conducted in this regard. Students applying for the MBA program must furnish all the details of their personal information and earlier academic records by filling in the Application Blank and the same along with the brochure will be available from the CGIM Reception during the office hours. The application blank can also be downloaded from the CGIM website The completed application along with the transcripts and certificates should be submitted to the office as per the timelines to be publicly notified in this regard. At the time of submission, students have to pay Rs. 500
