Santaneswor Vidya Mandir

Established in 2047 BS, a community based educational institution-Santaneshwor Vidya Mandir was established by a group of local people, including several teachers' spouses. Nepali people have founded many private schools in the country in order to give their children a better education, as most private schools offer to teach in English, instead of only Nepali at  Jharuwarasi, Lalitpur.

Today, it is providing education up to secondary level with moderate fee structures in affiliation with the National Examination Board (NEB) . It also provides a scholarship scheme for deserving students . It offers education from playgroup to Grade 10 (SEE).
